9/9/9

We have a time line. Anders may be transferred on Wednesday. In other good news, he will have Anders' Angels--Deb and Sarah V.,his primary nurses--tended to him all holiday weekend! We are very excited that Pizza Nurse, Grimace, and the Hamburgler will all be on the sidelines for a few days.
Anders was down to 22.5% O2 today, only about 1% up from room air. Otherwise, everything was the same as yesterday. Oh, he's up to 32 mils of food every 3 hours. He also had the same deep desaturation as yesterday at about the 40 minute mark with me holding him today. The nurse saw Anders through, kept him out, and he came back in relatively short order.
Anders' neighbor Lillian (the weaker twin to her sister Daphne) was discharged today (Daphne is already home). It's nice that Anders neighbors now leave him because they go home rather than because they pass away.
His only other neighbor at the 10 pin is another baby about whom we always forget since he's so quiet. I think he's slated to be released as well in the next day or so. Anders will be the only one back in his corner unless some other babies graduate this weekend.
