Ready to Road Trip

We are finally leaving MN after 108 straight days in MN for Anna. I have gone back hit all my other homes during this period: Athens, Marquette, and Decorah. I've spent the night at Fairview Riverside, 4oth St. Minneapolis, 9 West Hills Drive, 6400 Timber Ridge in Edina, 121 N. Lincoln in Marquette, Neste Farm, 284th St. NW in Zimmerman, Fairview Southdale.
Anna, however, has not left Anders' side for one night these past 100 days. What amazing devotion.
It's been a long haul. Much has happened. Much has changed. Anders is starting to feel like he's really ours.
We are excited to see Mr. Dan Seeley tomorrow. We are excited to put some miles behind us as well. We are excited to see Ms. Trudy Goodshoes again. We are excited to settle into home.
I will still update this blog, but probably not as frequently as when Anders was in the hospital. I had a lot more time for blogging when we only saw Anders for 5 hours a day rather than 24 hours. He, unfortunately, uses all his hours.
I'm sure I will be repeating all the shop worn, hackneyed cliches new parents spout about lacking sleep in short order on this web log.
I really miss Marilee at a time like this. She and Anders would have gotten along smashingly.
Thanks to everyone for all that you have done and will do for us during this trying time.
All the Best and Kyrie Eleieson.
Jon (Father of Anders) Peterson
PS. And just think of all that Brett Favre has done in the last 100 days!
