The Tyrant and the Manservant

Anders had been a model sleeper for the past week or so. Today, he went the other way. He didn't sleep well last night and then refused to sleep this morning. He would only go about 10 minutes at a time, but the crying jags lasted much longer. Then early this afternoon we both collapsed out of exhaustion. Anders has been sleeping on me for about the last 2.5 hours. You know about letting sleeping dogs lie and sleeping lions and other sleeping animals. I would like to add sleeping babies to the list, especially those with the pipes and endurance of Anders. I hear no signs of lung disease!
We go back to the doctor tomorrow for another weigh in. I am so terrified by The Tyrant's yelling (you can't even really call it crying) that I will make almost any accommodation to make it stop.
Anna came up with a great plan a couple weeks ago of easing Anders into sleep. After his evening feeding, around 9-10 pm, we take him into our bedroom, turn out the lights, minimize the noise and transition him to sleep. This has worked really well on the whole. Hopefully, last night was just a hiccup.
Big picture, Anders is doing really well. He's in great health and good spirits, when he's not yelling. Oh, and he loves being in the sun and outside. It's going to be a tough couple, three months. Trudy is regrouping in her tinsel box. Anna jokingly made a move toward the tinsel box the other day, Trudy was not amused.
I'll try to get some pictures up now if The Tyrant remains asleep.
